After receiving a petition, the Council shall, by simple motion, dispose of it as follows: consideration at a future regular meeting of the Council; or referral to another board or committee for study and report; or referral to the Town Manager for investigation and report; or receive for information. (Receiving does not imply approval, agreement, or consent.)

RECOMMENDATIONS: That the Council reconvene the public hearing to receive comments and consider acting on the application.

 
11.  Aydan Court, 2476 NC 54 East - Special Use Permit Application.  (R-7)(R-8)

PRESENTER: Kendal Brown, Principal Planner

RECOMMENDATIONS: That the Council reconvene the hearing to receive additional comments and consider acting on the application, should the accompanying rezoning request be approved.

 
12.  Recommendation to Establish the Community Policing Advisory Committee.  (R-9)

PRESENTER: Chris Blue, Police Chief

RECOMMENDATIONS: That the Council formally adopt this Advisory Committee model and direct staff to advertise for applicants.

 
13.  Land Use Management Ordinance Text Amendment; Commercial Ground Signs.  (O-3)

RECOMMENDATIONS: That the Council continue the Public Hearing and enact the revised ordinance.
