6.  Report on Board of Health's Rule on Smoke-Free Public Places and Public Education Campaign.

RECOMMENDATIONS: That the Council receive this report.

 
7.  Enact Ordinance to Prohibit Smoking in All Town Vehicles.  (O-4)

PRESENTER: Ralph Karpinos, Town Attorney

RECOMMENDATIONS: That the Council enact the attached ordinance to amend Section 11-154 of the Town of Chapel Hill Code of Ordinances.

 
8.  Report on Status of Town Towing and Mobile Phone Ordinances.  

PRESENTER: Ralph D. Karpinos, Town Attorney

RECOMMENDATIONS: That the Council discuss the attached information and provide further guidance.

 
9.  Response to Petitions Regarding Personnel Matters.  

PRESENTER: Roger L. Stancil, Town Manager

RECOMMENDATIONS: That the Council receive this report.

 
10.  Update on Proposed Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements Along Old Durham-Chapel Hill Road.  

PRESENTER: David Bonk, Long Range and Transportation Planning Manager

RECOMMENDATIONS: That the Council provide feedback on the three options presented and direct staff to gather comments from the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, Transportation Board and adjacent neighborhoods on Option 3, which would provide an off-road multi-use path along north side of Old Durham Chapel Hill Road from the Pope Road roundabout to Standish Dr.
